Ortega:
 
Soft rounded full dry white wine, aged in French oak barrels, produced from Ortega and Chardonnay grapes grown in Dropmore Vineyard.  Delicate vanilla aromas with hints of butterscotch and honey, plenty of character.  Good ageing potential.

Ortega is a lesser-known grape variety in the UK, but gaining in popularity among those who have ‘’discovered” it!  Named after Spanish philosopher, Jose Ortega y Gaffet, Ortega is a cross between Muller-Thurgau and Siegerrebe grapes. 
 
White - Dry

Bacchus
 
Made from 100% Bacchus grapes, grown in Dropmore Vineyard. Modern cross between Silvaner Riesling and Muller-Thurgau, ideally suited to the cooler English climate. 
 
Young, fresh, and light, eminently quaffable. Pleasing aromas of peach and mango with a refreshing zesty character. Good with fish, pasta, poultry, all year round. Best served chilled and consumed now.
